VBS - Accept the Challenge!

VBS is one of my kiddos (and my) favorite weeks of summer! Our church plans our theme, the crafts, the Bible lessons, the activities and games, the music......all for the people who participate (children and adults) to spend some time fellowshipping together - being encouraged, learning, growing. To be immersed in the things of Christ for the week. This year's theme was Accept the Challenge - with the Olympics theme being a driving force for the week. We discussed how important preparation, self-discipline, passion, sacrifice, and accountablility are in the life of a Christian and in the life of an athlete.  The lessons spoke to this Mommy Heart and to so many of our kiddos.  What a blessing!  This year, I taught Miss Priss's completed kindergarten class. We had such a GREAT week with the most awesome little class. I am soooo thankful for a church that considers it a privilege to host almost 1200 children and teach them about being Christ followers!
