The Fourth of July

We headed to Mississippi for a few days to celebrate July 4th. We had a fun time with my mom's family on Friday and Eric's dad's family on Saturday. The kiddos had a ton of other kids to play with....which was awesome! We swam, cooked out, rested, and caught up with family that we do not get to see very often. We are soooo glad we made the trip!! Hope all of you had a fun weekend also!
Cade and Sydney enjoyed their picnic at Gran and Pop's house. They were shriveled from being in the pool so long and then got cold when the clouds and rain came out. Don't you love how playing in the pool all morning provides really good naps in the afternoon...me too.



Can you tell that Syd loves her "Popadoodle"? She loves that man! He is so "go with the flow" and always is up for a good laugh. He was trying to rest in this picture when his youngest grandchild decided she would tickle him. When the tickling match started, it was "on"....I think his rest was definitely "off" ...sorry, Pop.

Cade and Loden had a blast! Loden is my cousin's little boy. He is one year older than Cade. When they get together, they have so much fun! From shooting water guns to throwing water bags, they really enjoyed their afternoon together. Boys will be boys....loud, messy, and have so much fun just goofing off. I love this age and love having a little boy!
